The Center houses a 8-node Mac Xserve Cluster, complete with dual 2.0 GHz 64-bit G5
processors, 2GB of DDR SDRAM, and the powerful Mac OS 10.4 on each node. Combined with the
iNquiry Bioinformatics
package from the BioTeam,
the cluster provides a large number of applications such as NCBI BLAST, EMBOSS, and Wise2.
